EOP - IBEC Global Graduates

Hovione is delighted to partner with the IBEC Global Graduates programme, in conjunction with the IDA, to support graduates attracted by an international career on paid work placements. The programme is 12 months in duration including 6 months as part of the team at Hovione Cork and a further 6 months in one of Hovione’s sister sites worldwide, including Loures, New Jersey, Hong Kong & Macau. Here, graduates receive real hands on experience in an international environment while completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Global Business. Hovione offers the opportunity for graduates to tailor their training plan in order to gain a cross functional view of the business.

College Work Placement

Together with your degree, the college work placement allows students to underpin this theoretical learning with a period of ‘hands-on’ learning where you can develop the skills needed to develop your career going forward.
Hovione Cork offers a 6 month work placement to students currently studying towards completion of their Level 8 Bachelors’ Degree at varied times over the year. The work placement is available across multiple disciplines and allows students to learn the language of industry.

JSSP

Hovione Cork works very closely with the Job-seekers Support Programme (JSSP) to provide work placements to those aspiring to gain exposure to the pharmaceutical industry in Ireland. Typically 16 weeks in duration, this programme allows candidates with the necessary academic skills to gain industry exposure.

Other Initiatives 

Aside from the above programmes & initiatives, Hovione Cork also has long established relationships with local educational bodies in Cork and offer the opportunity for individuals to upskill within the pharmaceutical industry.
